Tyre Stiffness Test

Stiffness or spring rate tests are used to determine the resistance of tire to deflection or deformation by the applied force.

HASETRI houses test machine capable of measuring the stiffness of the tire along 3 coordinate axes & 1 angular axis: radial(z), lateral (y), longitudinal (x), and torsional stiffness respectively. The facility for performing stiffness tests is available for the following tire categories.

Passenger car tire/ Light truck (C1/C2)
Truck/Bus tires (C3)
Motorcycle tires (Two and three-wheeler tyres)

The test machine can perform the stiffness test in compliance with the following test standards.

SAE J2704
SAE J2718

HASETRI received Prof. SK Joshi Laboratory Excellence Award from Quality Council of India (QCI) during their Silver Jubilee celebration held on 6th October 2022 at New Delhi. This is the first testing laboratory in private sector in India to receive this Award.
