HASETRI Patents – Rubber & Tyre Technology Innovations

Four patents have been awarded to this institute and three patents have been filed recently.The institute is striving to keep its personnel abreast of lastest technology and know-how by sponsoring them to various international seminars and conferences where they get first hand exposure and opportunity to interact with leading international experts.

HASETRI has a number of patents granted to its credit:

Development of Aqua based Inner Lube for Tyre Application
Development of Apparatus for Adhesion testing under dynamic condition
Yeast Treated Corn Powder as a filler in tyre Compound to reduce rolling resistance properties
A Rubber Composition based on eco friendly multifunctional additive

New areas where patents have been filed are:

Latex Carbon Black Master Batch for Rubber Industry
Naturally Occurring 'Thor' Latex derivatives as Processing Aid ('Thor' is a member of Cactus family)
Use of eco-friendly filler in rubber compounds.

2. An Apparatus for determining the steel cord rubber adhesion property during dynamic conditions.

3. Yeast Treated Corn Powder as a filler in tyre Compound to reduce rolling resistance properties

4. A Rubber Composition -Non Carcinogenic multifunctional processing aids to replace High PCA Aromatic Oil

5. Latex Carbon Black Master batch to avoid pollution in the rubber compound mixing area

HASETRI successfully enhanced the scope of NABL accreditation

September 2021: HASETRI has successfully enhanced the scope of NABL accreditation in Wet Grip and Coast by Noise testing for Cl & C2 category tyres as per ECE R117 and proposed AIS 142.

PHD Annual Awards for Excellence Announced

HASETRI imparted training to candidates under the STAR scheme of NSDC,GOI in rubber sector(under Rubber SDC)for the job roles of mill & Tyre Building Operator-commercial vehicles. The Institute has been approved as the first training provider for rubber sector by RSDC under NSDC,GOI

HASETRI receives the Prof. SK Joshi Laboratory Excellence Award

HASETRI received Prof. SK Joshi Laboratory Excellence Award from Quality Council of India (QCI) during their Silver Jubilee celebration held on 6th October 2022 at New Delhi. This is the first testing laboratory in private sector in India to receive this Award.
