Ultramicrotome (UC)

Ultramicrotome (UC)

HASETRI offers advance sample preparation facility- Ultramicrotome. Ultramicrotomy is the process for cutting specimens into extremely thin slices, called “ultra-thin sections”, which can be further analysed and documented by Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) for a detailed and intricate investigation of the specimen. This technique is widely used in preparing biological samples, elastomers, plastics and any other soft materials. An excellent sample preparation is the key for observing the finest textures and details on the sample surface in high resolution. The right workflow and tools for the sample preparation will not only lead to an excellent sample, it also produces reliable and precise results.
