Elemental Analysis

NCS Instrument

Nitrogen, Carbon, Sulfur and Oxygen analyzer is an elemental analyser to detect the exact quantity of that particular element present in the sample matrix. It is used to analyse the following:

  • Sulfur content in finished rubber product
  • Nitrogen content in natural rubber and latex
  • Sulfur content in silane rubber chemical
  • Sulfur content in Carbon black
  • Sulfur content in coal

We are capable of performing the test in compliance with the following standards:

  • ASTM D1619
  • ASTM D4239
  • ISO 1656
  • ASTM D6741

ICP-OES Instrument

Inductively coupled plasma - optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) is a technique in which the composition of elements in (mostly water-dissolved) samples can be determined using plasma and a spectrometer. It is used to analyse the following:

  • Metal ion detection in finished rubber product
  • Dissolve metal ions in water sample
  • Coating metal estimation in bead wire
  • Coating metal estimation steel wire
  • Heavy metal detection in water soluble matrix

We are capable of performing the test in compliance with the following standards:

  • ISO 19050
  • ASTM D2969
  • SOP: 32-WI-300
