HASETRI is India’s first and foremost research center which fulfils the nation’s need for developing newer and better technologies for elastomer & tyre technology. Our primary vision is to foster the development and evolution of new technologies for rubber and allied industries in the domestic and international markets. Through this vision, HASETRI is playing a pivotal role in developing technical manpower for the rubber industry.
Recognition & Accreditations
HASETRI is recognised by Dept. of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) under Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO). Testing and calibration activities of HASETRI are accredited as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). HASETRI is accredited as a Proficiency Testing Provider following ISO17043:2010 standard by NABL. HASETRI has got candidate laboratory status as per UNECE R117 for measuring Rolling Resistance and approved by Vehicle Certification Agency, UK.

HASETRI is providing support to Indian Rubber Institute (IRI) for running DIRI & PGDIRI courses. Scientists & Engineers are delivering lectures in various training programs for academic institutes and IRI.

HASETRI is engaged in applied research in the area of elastomer & tyre by utilizing its state-of-the-art facility and highly skilled manpower. The major research areas include development of new & sustainable material, compound development, material characterisation, product testing and simulation tool development.

Hari Shankar Singhania Elastomer and Tyre Research Institute (HASETRI) was established in October -1991 at Kankroli, Rajasthan with mere 5 Scientists. Since then HASETRI has grown manifolds in terms of manpower infrastructural facilities. HASETRI receives the Prof. SK Joshi Laboratory Excellence Award
HASETRI received Prof. SK Joshi Laboratory Excellence Award from Quality Council of India (QCI) during their Silver Jubilee celebration held on 6th October 2022 at New Delhi. This is the first testing laboratory in private sector in India to receive this Award.
