Pass-by Noise Testing for Tyres and Vehicles

Pass-by Noise is the Noise experienced by Pedestrians and others while a vehicle passes them by. Traffic Level Studies are at times conducted at various places to see the magnitude and effects of the traffic at large. At vehicle / Tyre Level studies, studies are conducted with individual vehicles at any of the Certified Test Tracks. The parameters required by the Testing Standard is captured with an array of sensors mounted on the vehicle and track. The noise levels are measured as the vehicle coasts the sensors by and is saved and analysed. The Weather measurement, automated triggers and the wireless syncing of data ensures the quality of the measurements.
